David was born in Charleston, Illinois, and raised in Grand Ledge, Michigan.
He now resides in Lansing, Michigan, and is looking forward to moving to either Los Angeles, Chicago or New York
City in the near future.
David participated in
musicals and plays in high school and college. After serving in the U.S. Army, David went back to school to study motion
picture direction and production, as well as screenwriting. Taking advantage of an opportunity to manage a casual/fine-dining
restaurant, he spent the next four years opening stores in Detroit and Washington, D.C., as well as managing one in the Detroit
area.
In 2007 David decided to leave the restaurant business to pursue his dream of being involved in motion
pictures, this time focusing on acting. Right away several opportunities presented themselves, and they haven't
slowed down. Choosing projects that he felt would help him develop his craft and broaden his range, he’s managed
to work consistently.
David is also an adept musician. He rediscovered his love of singing in
high school choir and taught himself how to play the piano. Influenced strongly by artists such as Elvis,
Elton John, Billy Joel and Garth Brooks, David has written dozens of songs.
Always a fan of movies growing up,
and a lover of almost all genres, his favorites are character-driven dramas such as Casablanca, Citizen
Kane, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Dog Day Afternoon to name a few.
